Monitoring Service

The My Medic Watch smartwatch apps are not intended to be used as a medical device. They do not prevent, diagnose, monitor or treat specific diseases and is not a substitute for medical care. My Medic Watch should be used as an aid for daily living and users should consult with a doctor for health advice.

The hub of the service, support is only seconds away

Our 24/7/365 in-house Monitoring Centre has been monitoring people with a variety of devices and apps for many years. We currently monitor over 50k users in the UK.

Our unique combination of alarm handling staff skills and expertise, standards accreditation, performance levels and resilience of service were major factors in the Department of Health awarding us the contract as single supplier to deploy 30,000 personal safety devices to frontline community-based NHS staff in 2009 through our Reliance Protect brand.

Our Monitoring Centre is accredited to all the key standards to ensure the highest levels of quality, performance and service resilience.

Our Monitoring Centre has extensive resilience built into the facility from backup servers and telecoms infrastructure to uninterrupted power supplies with backup generators.

Furthermore, our secondary backup Monitoring Centre site can be operational within minutes if the primary Monitoring Centre site is rendered inoperable.

Our alarm-handling operators are the best in the business. Staff go through extensive training both initially as part of their induction, and then ongoing as part of rigorous quality audit checks, group training and feedback initiatives.  Their ability to quickly understand the dynamics of the situation and to action the appropriate response is crucial.
